Sortter will be sponsoring Heili Sirviö
Heili Sirviö, who achieved the best placement for the Finnish team in the Paris Olympics, has become the youngest Finn to receive an invitation to the world-renowned X Games competition in Japan, alongside eleven other top skateboarders from around the globe. Recently, the IT service business Luoto Company announced in a press release that they are sponsoring skateboarder Heili Sirviö. Inspired by Luoto and the discussion in the media, the Finnish loan comparison service Sortter also decided to support the talented 13-year-old Heili on her journey to the X Games.
"We are proud to support Heili in the prestigious X Games competition. We believe that Finnish sports, and above all young promising athletes, deserve all the support they can get to succeed," says Sortter's Chief Business Development Officer Reetta Sinelampi.
Heili shared that her preparation for the X Games has been successful, having attended a training camp in California:
What is X Games?
The X Games has been steadily growing more popular for a while. First held in 1995, the competition initially included nine different sports categories and was hosted exclusively in the United States. Since then, the competition has expanded to cover multiple sports worldwide. The event can be viewed on television, YouTube, Twitch streams, and live on the spot. The Fall 2024 event will be held in Chiba, Japan, on September 20–22.
"Sortter shares common values with Heili: hard work, perseverance, and passion for what you do are the keys to success. We believe and know that Finns will succeed excellently, and Sortter strives for the same in all its activities," Sinelampi concludes.
Through these shared values and our sponsorship, we wish Heili good luck and success in her sports career. Especially in the upcoming X Games competition!
